Account settings

Everything about your account lives under Profile. Here’s what you can change.

Open Profile → Account to edit your details:

Field Notes
Full name The name shown at the door.
Email You’ll be asked to verify a new email when you save.
Phone Your contact number.
Date of birth Used for age-restricted venues and events.
Address Start typing for autocomplete, then confirm your postcode.
Password Set a new password (at least 8 characters) and confirm it.

Your two-factor status is shown here too, with a link to manage it. Tap Save to apply your changes.

For an extra layer of protection, turn on two-factor authentication under Profile → Security.

  1. Choose to set up two-factor.
  2. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (or enter the secret manually).
  3. Enter the 6-digit code from the app to verify and switch it on.

Once it’s on, you’ll enter a 6-digit code from your app each time you sign in with a password. You can disable it from the same screen whenever you like.

Under Profile → Socials you can add your Instagram and TikTok handles, and follow Sidedoor on its own channels.

Profile → Preferences is where you tune how the app looks and what it tells you:

  • Dark mode - switch between light and dark.
  • Notifications - for each category (Booking confirmations, Reminders, Venue replies, and News & events) choose whether to get them in-app and by email.
  • Location - turn location on so Sidedoor can show venues near you, or off for privacy.
