The public SideDoor API is not live yet. The token system that powers it is currently a design spec (see the app repo’s docs/API_TOKENS.md), not a shipped feature. This section is a placeholder so the structure and expectations are in place — treat everything here as provisional and subject to change.

What’s planned

• API tokens — Authorization: Bearer <token> auth, resolving to the same identity model the app uses. Scoped tokens (role + venue), rotation and revocation for operators/integrations.
• REST endpoints — read/write access to the resources you already manage in the portal (bookings, availability, vouchers, events).
• Webhooks — subscribe to events (e.g. a new booking) to sync into your own systems.

If you’re an operator or partner who needs programmatic access, let us know your use case so we can factor it into the API scope.
